The destination

Our Itacaré, Brazil Yoga Teacher Training program will give you the opportunity to immerse
yourself in your yoga practice and give you a deep sense of the rich culture that Brazil has to offer.
The famous surf town - Itacaré - is located in the center of a very potent land that provides jungle,
mountains, rivers, canyons and beautiful beaches to roam and explore. Deep in the Atlantic
Rainforest, surrounded by lush green rainforest and bright blue palm tree lined skies, you will find
yourself truly connected to Mother Earth.

Itacaré is the thriving cultural and spiritual surf Mecca of Brazil. Home to Brazil’s yoga, art and health
scene, it provides a sanctuary in an idyllic, nurturing space, full of the revitalizing qualities of the
abundant land. The opportunities for massage, surfclasses, yoga and more are abundant in this beautiful place!

Training location and travel logistics

Welcome to our hidden tropical oasis, a small family owned hotel close to the beach. You will be
staying in bungalows that are hidden under Cacau and Mango trees. If you ever get enough of the
sun you have plenty of palm trees and banana leaves to hind beneath. The rooms have air condition,
safety box and of course a bathroom. Rooms sleeps one or two Yogis.

You can choose to fly to Ilheus or Salvador. If you fly to Ilheus (a smaller airport where airfairs might be more expensive) you will only take a 1 hour cab ride to Itacaré. If you fly into Salvador’s International Airport, you can either take a cab ride to Itacaré (costs around 800 BRL) or cross over to Itaparica island with the ferry and from there take the bus to Itacaré (costs around 50 BRL). Both options take about 6 hours. The Soulful Kind would be happy to help you organize a reliable cab from Ilheus or Salvador if you notify us beforehand by email.
